Cheese Slicer | Maple | Paduk | Walnut | Orange Osage

$50.00
Sold Out
Solid wood cheese slicer, made with hard maple as the major component and accents of Paduk (red), Walnut (brown), and Orange Osage (yellow/orange).

The circular pattern was routed out and the contrasting woods were inserted in their place. A 45º chamfer is added to the corners for a more pleasant feel and look. Then the entire piece is sanded smooth, wetted to raise any loose fibers, and then sanded again, before getting four coats of Tried & True (an all-natural, food safe finish), and a final coat and buffing of finish and natural beeswax. For a smooth and shiny finish, that will protect the board.

The handle will slide out of the base, to allow for a replacement wire to be inserted, if the original one should break.

Dimensions:
9.5” Wide
5.75” Deep
0.75” Thick
