This is a solid wood cutting board, made using the end grain of the wood for butcher-block style board. Walnut, hard maple, and purpleheart were used to create this cutting board. Lots of sanding was done to get the surface smooth and clean. It is finished with4 coats of a food safe, oil varnish finish. And finally, the final coat of oil varnish and beeswax is applied hot, and buffed into all surfaces.
This cutting board can be used on either side as it currently is, or I can add clear rubber feet on one side if desired, for $8. I will include a small container of finish, so that you can really as necessary and bring the board back to its original finish.
*Item must be hand washed and dried immediately. Can not be cleaned in dishwasher.
