This handy little cutting board is as useful as it is eye-catching. It is perfect for small kitchen tasks such as fruit, veggie, and cheese prep, or even as a decorative bar prep board.
This board is made from 108 individually cut pieces of old growth pine and wrapped in solid walnut. All of these pieces are end grain up, butcher block style, for a very strong cutting surface.
It is constructed with all natural woods and finished with four coats of Tried & True Varnish Oil (an all natural, food safe wood finish). This finish soaks into the wood to seal and protect it. Then the board is coated with a melted mixture of varnish oil and all natural beeswax, to create a sealed, long lasting finish. Finally, the board is buffed to a shiny, smooth finish, ready to be talk of your kitchen or bar.
This cutting is built to last, and with proper care will be in use for many years to come. I will also include a small container of the varnish oil/beeswax mixture, which you can use to refinish the board when the time comes. Simply melt, apply with a cloth, and buff it off, to return this board to it’s original finish.
